The boys complete the Barcelona Marathon, raising £4,000 in the process

On a bright Sunday in March, Alfie Fuller, Adam McDonnell and Harry Mole, longtime fundraisers for the charity, set out once again on a new endeavour in memory of Mitchy, crossing the finish line at the Barcelona Marathon with £4,000 raised for the foundation in the process.

Months of early mornings, long Sunday runs and quietly working through niggles came down to one 26.2 mile loop of the Catalan capital. Every member of the team finished, which is no small thing on a course that starts cool and finishes warm.

The money raised will go straight into the initiatives we fund, from community heart health activity to the partnerships we are building with local first responders. To everyone who sponsored, shared the JustGiving page or sent a message of support, thank you.

If running a marathon for the foundation is something you have ever thought about, get in touch through our Fundraise page. We would love to help you make it happen.
